Eligible non-profit charitable organizations can qualify for completely free access to Workplace. Find out more on the Workplace for Good website, or take a look at the articles below to get started.

Facebook uses TechSoup to verify whether an organization applying for Workplace for Good is an NGO holding a valid non-profit status.
Requesting organizations must be registered with a local TechSoup partner and must otherwise be eligible to participate in Workplace for Good to receive free access to Workplace. Note that some types of organizations are excluded from participation in Workplace for Good.
To register for Workplace for Good:
  1. Visit TechSoup to get a validation token. TechSoup Validation Tokens are unique codes available to nonprofits that have been validated by TechSoup. A validation token is a string of letters and numbers that typically ends with a part of an organization's name. Here's an example: 123a4567@MyOrgName.
  2. Visit Workplace for Good under Payments in your Workplace admin panel and click Add Your TechSoup Token.
  3. If you are eligible for Workplace for Good, you will receive a message that your status was successfully verified.
You can also visit Workplace for Good for more information and to apply for the program.
Facebook determines an organization's qualification for Workplace for Good in its sole discretion and reserves the right to grant or deny an organization's application or participation at any time, for any reason. Facebook may supplement or amend the eligibility guidelines for Workplace for Good at any time without notice. If, as a result of a change in Facebook’s policies or a change in an organization’s status, an organization no longer qualifies for Workplace for Good, then Facebook will provide such organization with at least three months prior notice. After such notice, the standard rates shall apply to such organization’s access and use of Workplace.

If you’re a verified Workplace for Good customer, then you can launch up to five Workplaces for your organization. For example, you may want separate Workplaces for employees and volunteers.
To create another Workplace:
  1. Go to www.workplaceforgood.org and then click Apply Now.
  2. Follow the steps in the same way as you applied for your first Workplace.
    • You will also need to sign into TechSoup and get a code. Instructions on how to do that are here.
  3. On Workplace, click Admin Panel at the left-hand side. If you are not an admin of your Workplace, you will need to contact an admin to complete this step and the following steps.
  4. Scroll down and click Contact Support.
  5. Click Chat with Us at the top right.
  6. Workplace Support will be able to apply your TechSoup code for you.
We are requiring Workplace for Good customers to contact Support to launch new Workplaces for their organization to maintain the highest levels of security.
TechSoup tokens are valid for 30 days and can be used up to 5 times during this period. If you want to create another new instance after the initial 30 days, you will need to request a new TechSoup token.
Communicating between different Workplaces
All individual Workplaces are separate from one another, but you can connect your different Workplaces by setting up multi-company groups. This means that people within your separate Workplaces can still collaborate with each other.
Workplace Support will only be able to communicate with admins for individual Workplace accounts, instead of all separate Workplaces at once.
Note: The terms and conditions of additional Workplaces remain the same as for your current Workplace. You may only create user accounts for your direct employees, contractors and volunteers.
